No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

New Texas Education Code Section 33.085 would restrict certain activities by the University Interscholastic League (UIL) involving sports officials.

Local Government Impact

According to the UIL, the new restrictions would result in an indeterminate cost to local school districts to negotiate sports official rates.
