No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize a commissioners court to deny the cancellation of a subdivision regardless of the date land is subdivided or a plat is filed if the commissioners court determines the cancellation will prevent the proposed interconnection or infrastructure to pending or existing development.
