No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would remove the opportunity for a contested case hearing for certain authorizations related to in situ uranium mining submitted to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) after September 1, 2007.
 
Passage of the bill is not expected to have a significant impact on TCEQ's workload.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
