The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to a physician's authority to delegate prescribing acts to physician assistants. Based on the analysis of the Texas Medical Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
