No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to exclude any information related to an employer’s name, employer’s address, and employer’s telephone number from the information published on the public sex offender registry.  It is anticipated that the additional costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the existing resources of the Department of Public Safety Sex Offender Registration Bureau. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
