No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code relating to deadlines for court reporters to file transcripts, which has no significant fiscal impact to the state. The bill would provide that a court reporter "may not" be required to file a transcript before the 60th day after the date an appeal is filed. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
