IN RE:	HB3454 by Workman (Relating to the age at which a child may express a preference to the court on issues regarding residence and conservatorship in a suit affecting the parent-child relationship.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code to increase the age from 12 to 15 in which the court can interview a child to determine the child’s wishes as to conservatorship or who shall have the right to determine the child’s primary residence.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
