IN RE:
HB3580 by Frullo (Relating to the issuance of specialty license plates for surviving spouses of disabled veterans of the United States armed forces.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Subchapter D, Chapter 504, of the Transportation Code to require the Department of Motor Vehicles to issue specialty license plates for surviving spouses of disabled veterans of the United States armed forces.

Based on the provisions of Subchapter D, Chapter 504, of the Transportation Code, it is assumed there would be no fee for the issuance of the new specialty plate.  Based on the analysis of DMV, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
