IN RE:
HB3674 by Eiland (relating to the use of an unsworn declaration.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal Sections 132.002 and 132.003 of the Civil Practices and Remedies Code, which relate to declarations. The bill would amend Section 132.001 to include the content of former Section 132.002 and to provide the revised format for unsworn declarations. The Office of Court Administration and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice anticipate no significant fiscal impact to the State as a result of the bill’s passage.
