IN RE: | HJR41 by Raymond (Proposing a constitutional amendment authorizing local option elections to legalize or prohibit the operation of eight-liners.), As Introduced |
The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $105,495.
The resolution would authorize local option elections to legalize or prohibit the operation of eightliners in a defined area. The legislature may impose a fee on the machines or authorize a political subdivision to impose a fee. The rate of such fees and the allocation of revenue would be determined by the legislature.
Any fiscal impact would be associated with the enabling legislation.
The proposed amendment would be submitted to voters at an election to be held November 8, 2011.
