No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $105,495.


The resolution proposes a constitutional amendment to Article III of the Texas Constitution that would be submitted to voters at an election to be held November 8, 2011.

Local Government Impact

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
