No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $105,495.


The resolution would amend the Texas Constitution to better define who retains executive authority when the Governor, or Lieutenant Governor when acting as Governor, becomes unavailable as provided by law.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
