No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The joint resolution relates to requirements of the United States Department of Education concerning federal student aid by naming private institutions of higher education in the State of Texas that are authorized to operate educational programs beyond secondary education. Under provisions of the joint resolution the Texas secretary of state will forward official copies of the resolution to the secretary of education, to the president of each college and university named in the resolution, to the president of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress, and to all the members of the Texas delegation to the Congress.
