HR2666 by Harper-Brown (Suspending limitations on conference committee jurisdiction, S.B. No. 1420.)

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The resolution would suspend House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(4) to permit the committee to add text on a matter not included in either the House or Senate version of the bill to establish compliance program for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). This would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the state.

The resolution would suspend House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(4) to permit the committee to add text on a matter not included in either the House or Senate version of the bill to allow a municipality to issue bonds to pay for costs of a transportation project and pledge and assign an amount of money in a tax increment account to secure payment of the bonds. This would not result in a fiscal impact to the state.

The resolution would suspend House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(4) to permit the committee to add text on a matter not included in either the House or Senate version of the bill to authorize a county to establish an ad valorem tax increment account for a transportation reinvestment zone (TRZ). This would not result in a fiscal impact to the state.

The resolution would suspend House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(4) to permit the committee to add text on a matter not included in either the House or Senate version of the bill to allow a county to pay into a tax increment account certain amounts from taxes collected on property within a TRZ. This would not result in a fiscal impact to the state.

The resolution would suspend House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(4) to permit the committee to add text on a matter not included in either the House or Senate version of the bill to allow a county to issue bonds to pay for the cost of a transportation project and pledge and assign an amount of money in a tax increment account to secure payment of the bonds.

The resolution would suspend House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(4) to permit the committee to add text on a matter not included in either the House or Senate version of the bill to authorize the implementation of provisions related to the comprehensive development agreement from the North Tarrant Express Project. This would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the state.

The resolution would suspend House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(4) to permit the committee to add text on a matter not included in either the House or Senate version of the bill to allow the Executive director of TxDOT to set maximum weights for state highways, roads, and bridges. This would not result in a fiscal impact to the state.
