No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would eliminate or reduce the frequency of certain reports required of health and human services agencies. According to the affected agencies (Department of Aging and Disability Services, Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Department of Family and Protective Services, Department of State Health Services, and Health and Human Services Commission), no significant fiscal impact is expected; staff responsible for preparing eliminated reports could see a reduction in workload, but it is assumed to not be significant enough to make reductions in staffing. The bill also eliminates a requirement that certain unencumbered balances belonging to the children's assistance fund and the medical assistance fund be returned to the appropriate special fund, which is assumed to have no significant fiscal impact.
