No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends Section 2175.304 of the Government Code by allowing state university systems or higher education institutions to donate data processing equipment that is surplus or salvage property to a public or private hospital located in a rural county.  Provisions of the bill would be implemented within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
