No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require revisions and updates to the science Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAARs). The agency indicates there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of this bill.
