IN RE:
SB314 by Zaffirini (Relating to unemployment compensation eligibility and chargebacks regarding certain persons who are victims or whose immediate family members are victims of sexual assault.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to unemployment compensation eligibility and chargebacks regarding certain persons who are victims or whose immediate family members are victims of sexual assault.   According to the analysis of the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), benefits paid under this bill would not represent a significant impact to the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund.

Based on the analysis of the TWC, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
