No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to provide that federal regulations relating to the interstate transport of oysters that have not been post-harvest treated oysters do not apply to oysters harvested, sold and consumed within Texas. The bill would take immediate effect if it receives two-thirds the vote of members in both houses.  Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
