No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Texas Penal Code to create an offense for the use of fraudulent or fictitious military records. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.  The Adjutant General's Department indicates that no fiscal implication is anticipated from the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
