SB481 by Harris (Relating to the removal of a guardian of an incapacitated person ordered by a court.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Texas Probate Code to require a court clerk to issue a notice of an order by a court to remove a guardian and includes specifications for the notice. The bill would require a court to hold a hearing on application for reinstatement as a guardian as soon as practicable, but not later than 60 days past the date the court ordered the removal.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
