SB482 by Harris (Relating to authorization agreements between parents and nonparent relatives of a child.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code relating to the requirements of an authorization agreement for a nonparent relative of a child. The bill modifies some of the requirements surrounding authorization agreements for a nonparent relative of a child.  These agreements are made outside of court supervision and would have no impact on court operations.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
