No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code, repealing Sections 16.01(d), which allows a winery to sell or give away wine for consumption on or off their premises; 16.01(e), which allows a winery to dispense wine for consumption on their premises; 16.07, which allows for wineries to conduct wine samplings, including wine tastings on the permitted premises; and 16.08, which allows a winery to host wine festivals.  The agency indicates that no fiscal implication is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
