No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to authorize an appraisal district to obtain the criminal history record information from the Department of Public Safety for a person who is an applicant for employment by the appraisal district or for appointment to the appraisal review board. The bill also would allow the criminal history record information to be provided to the local administrative district judge or to the appraisal review board commissioners if the members of the appraisal review board are appointed by the local administrative district judge.
