No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would allow school district boards of trustees the ability to appoint individuals from local domestic violence programs to School Health Advisory Councils. It would also require councils to include recommendations related to school district policies, programs and resources on dating violence, bullying, and sexual harassment in their annual report.
Local Government Impact
No significant administrative cost is anticipated for local school districts to support the councils.
