SB820 by Harris (Relating to a court order for the possession of or access to a child under three years of age.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code to add specific factors for a judge to consider when ordering possession for a child under three years old.  The bill would provide that a court shall make findings in support of the order on request of a party.  To the extent the bill would amend court procedures, no significant impact on judicial workloads or fiscal implication to the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
