The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to ambulatory surgical centers and to the provision of services at those centers by certain designated physician groups.
Based on the analysis by the Texas Department of Insurance and the Department of State Health Services, it is assumed that all duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Additionally, it is assumed that all duties and responsibilities associated with the State Office of Risk Management implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
