No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Civil Practices and Remedies Code and the Tax Code to allow court clerks who are required to enter information into an execution docket to enter and maintain such information in an electronic format and provide that any local government record data may be stored electronically in addition to or instead of source documents in paper or other media. To the extent the bill would amend court procedures, no significant fiscal implication to the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
