IN RE: | SB947 by Patrick (Relating to granting limited state law enforcement authority to certain criminal investigators of the United States and to other federal law enforcement personnel.), As Introduced |
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to granting limited state law enforcement authority to certain criminal investigators of the United States and to other federal law enforcement personnel. The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education indicates that the bill has no anticipated fiscal impact. This bill will take immediate effect if it receives a two-thirds majority vote in both Houses of the Legislature; otherwise it takes effect September 1, 2011.
