SB1042 by Hegar (Relating to the eligibility of employees convicted of certain offenses to provide services under a contract with a public school.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would prohibit a contracting entity from allowing an employee to provide services at a school if the employee has been convicted of certain criminal offenses.

The provisions of the bill would apply regardless of whether the contract was entered into before or after the effective date of the bill.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
