No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would permit prosecution in the county in which the property was stolen or in any other county through or into which the property was removed, in cases where property is stolen from one county and removed to another county. To the extent the bill would amend court procedures, no significant impact on judicial workloads or fiscal implication to the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
