IN RE:	SB1121 by Estes (Relating to the student fees for the university center at Midwestern State University.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Section 54.518, Education Code by adding subsection (D) allowing the Board of Regents of Midwestern State University to increase student fees for certain purposes if a majority of the students participating in a general election approved.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
