No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the occupations code relating to the regulation of providers, administrators, and sellers of service contracts and identity recovery service contracts, providing penalties.

The bill would repeal the following provisions of the Occupations Code: Section 1304.006; Section 1304.102(d); Section 1304.151(b); Section 1304.157; Section 1304.158; Section 1306.007; Section 1306.052(d); Section 1306.101(b); Section 1306.107; and Section 1306.108.

Based on the analysis of the Department of Licensing and Regulation, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
