No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would recreate the advisory committee on Medicaid and child health plan program rate and expenditure disparities between the Texas-Mexico border region and other areas of the state. The advisory committee would be required to submit a report to the legislature not later than December 1, 2014. According to the Health and Human Services Commission, any cost to implement the provisions of the bill would be minimal and could be absorbed within available resources.
