No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the elimination of certain reports submitted by the Court of Criminal Appeals and the Supreme Court to the Office of Court Administration. The bill would repeal the requirement established in 1997 that the Court of Criminal Appeals and the Supreme Court file annual reports to the Office of Court Administration involving court performance standards. No significant fiscal impact is anticipated.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2011.
