No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Utilities Code by specifying that the Public Utility Commission has the authority to allow the recovery of reasonable costs associated with certain programs related to informing customers about energy efficient materials or methods to reduce energy consumption.
Based on the analysis of the Public Utility Commission it is assumed that responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
