IN RE:	SB1624 by Hegar (Relating to Prairie View A&M University's eligibility to participate in the research development fund.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Education Code to include Prairie View A&M Universiy in the list of institutions eligible to receive funding from the Research Development Fund.

It is assumed that existing funding for the Research Development Fund would be reallocated among all eligible institutions if Prairie View A&M University was included in the fund.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
