No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the transparency and propagation of information regarding personal automobile and residential property insurance rates, policies, and complaints. It is assumed that all duties and responsibilities associated with the Texas Department of Insurance and the Office of Public Insurance Counsel implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing agency resources.
