No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to provide that the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) establish and administer a task force to enhance the prosecution and tracking of money laundering in this state. The OAG indicates that that any additional costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
