Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on February 14, 2011, the House Committee on Appropriations - S/C on Article II met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Zerwas, at 7:06 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representative Zerwas; Chisum; Eiland; King, Susan; Schwertner.

A quorum was present.

At 9:50 a.m., on the motion of Representative Zerwas and without objection, the meeting was recessed until the House adjourns or if granted permission, until the reading and referrals of bills.

The committee reconvened at 12:14 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Zerwas. The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representative Zerwas; Chisum; King, Susan; Schwertner.

A quorum was present.

At 4:58 p.m., on the motion of Representative Zerwas and without objection, the meeting was adjourned until 7:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2011.
