Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 13, 2011, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hardcastle, at 11:55 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hardcastle; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Isaac; Kleinschmidt; Landtroop; Lozano; and Miles.

 

A quorum was present.


 

SB 646

 

The chair laid out SB 646.

 

Representative Hardcastle moved that SB 646, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Hardcastle; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Isaac; Kleinschmidt; Landtroop; Lozano; Miles (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Howard, Charlie; Hughes (2).

 

HB 1840

 

The chair laid out HB 1840 as pending business.

 

Representative Landtroop offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Landtroop moved that HB 1840, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Hardcastle; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Isaac; Kleinschmidt; Landtroop; Lozano; Miles (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).
