Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 20, 2011, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hardcastle, at 12:00 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hardcastle; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Hughes; Isaac; Landtroop; Lozano; and Miles.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 893.

Representative Anderson, Charles "Doc" offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Anderson, Charles "Doc" moved that SB 893, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes: Representatives Hardcastle; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Hughes; Isaac; Landtroop; Lozano; Miles (7).

Nays: None (0).

Present, Not Voting: None (0).

Absent: Representatives Howard, Charlie; Kleinschmidt (2).

The chair directed that the April 12, 2011 minutes for the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

At 12:04 p.m., on the motion of Representative Hughes and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
