Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule
on March 15, 2011, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a public
hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 4:37
p.m.

for Article I pending items and riders.

Representative Dukes moved to amend the Film and
Music Marketing rider in the rider packet.
The motion was adopted without objection.
Representative Otto moved to adopt the subcommittee
recommendations for Article I pending items and riders as amended. The motion was adopted without objection.
Article V
The chair laid out the subcommittee recommendations

Representative Otto moved to amend the Tax Amnesty
Program rider and the Contingency Rider for HB 275 in the decision
document. The motion was adopted without

Competition and Choice rider in the decision document.

modification of the DSHS Estimated Appropriation and Unexpended Balance:
Permanent Tobacco Funds rider in the rider packet. The motion was adopted without objection.
