Pursuant to a notice posted on June 1, 2011, and permission granted to meet while the House is in session on June 2, 2011, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 9:37 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Pitts; Turner; Aycock; Chisum; Crownover; Darby; Eiland; Giddings; Gooden; King, Susan; Margo; Miller, Doug; Morrison; Otto; Schwertner; Shelton; Torres; and Zerwas.
