MINUTES
On April 18, 2011, the House Committee on Border
& Intergovernmental Affairs authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House
Committee on Border & Intergovernmental Affairs held on April 11, 2011. The
following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on April 6, 2011, and
permission to meet while the House is in session during bill reading and
referral on April 11, 2011, the House Committee on Border &
Intergovernmental Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by
the chair, Representative Gonzales, Veronica, at 2:48 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Gonzales, Veronica; Alonzo; Hardcastle; Riddle; and Simpson.
A quorum was present.
(Representative Weber now present.)
HB 3191
The chair laid out HB 3191 as pending business.
Representative Riddle moved that HB 3191, without
amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and
Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed
by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives
Gonzales, Veronica; Weber; Alonzo; Hardcastle; Riddle; Simpson (6).
Nays: None (0).

Absent: Representatives Farrar;

Representative Alonzo moved that HB 1371, without
amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
