Pursuant to a notice posted on March 2, 2011,  and a suspension of the 5-day  posting rule on March 3, 2011 to allow the committee to hear H.B. 1196 and H.B. 1228, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Deshotel, at 2:33 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Deshotel; Orr; Bohac; Garza; Quintanilla; Solomons; and Workman.
