Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11, 2011, and receiving permission on May 11, 2011 to meet while the house is in session, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Deshotel, at 2:43 p.m.

Representative Workman offered a complete committee substitute.
