Pursuant to a notice posted on May 11, 2011, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a joint public hearing with the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services and was called to order by the chair, Representative Deshotel, at 8:03 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Deshotel; and Orr.

A quorum is now present.

At 10:58 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until upon final adjourn./recess.

The committee reconvened at 5:32 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Deshotel.

The quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Deshotel; Orr; and Quintanilla.
