Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 4, 2011, and having been granted permission to meet while the house is in session during reading and referral of bills on April 4, 2011, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 2:46 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Branch; Coleman; Cook; Geren; Keffer; King, Tracy O.; Kolkhorst; Lucio III; Rodriguez, Eddie; Truitt; and Zerwas.

A quorum was present.

Representative Hunter moved to place the following measures:

on the Major State Calendar for Wednesday, April 6, 2011: HB 6, HB 500.

on the General State Calendar for Wednesday, April 6, 2011: HB 10, HB 510, HB 1201.

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays: None (0).

Present, Not Voting: None (0).

Absent: Representatives Bonnen; Ritter; Solomons (3).

At 2:47 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
