Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 10, 2011, and having been granted permission to meet while the house is in session on May 10, 2011, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 7:05 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Bonnen; Branch; Coleman; Geren; Keffer; King, Tracy O.; Kolkhorst; Ritter; Rodriguez, Eddie; Solomons; and Truitt.

 

A quorum was present.

Representative Hunter moved to place the following measures:

on the General State Calendar for Thursday, May 12, 2011:  HB 2896, HB 2461, HB 2423, HB 2459, HB 1729, HB 3668, HB 1384, HB 3370, HB 3522, HB 2611, HB 3758, HB 2557.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Hunter; Bonnen; Branch; Coleman; Geren; Keffer; Kolkhorst; Ritter; Rodriguez, Eddie; Solomons; Truitt; Zerwas (12).

 

Nays:                           Representative King, Tracy O. (1).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Cook; Lucio III (2).

 

At 7:06 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
